Credit Official – Airside / Central Park, Sandyford (Hybrid)
Location: Airside or Central Park, Sandyford
Contract: 12-Month Contract
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Payment: Weekly

About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Credit Official on behalf of a leading financial services organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in banking, lending, credit assessment, or customer-focused financial services who are looking to develop their career within a reputable and fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in the customer credit journey, supporting customers through the application process, assessing creditworthiness, and contributing to informed lending decisions while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess credit applications in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct customer interactions professionally and efficiently via telephone and digital channels.
  • Gather and analyse financial information to support credit decisions.
  • Ensure all lending decisions comply with regulatory and internal risk requirements.
  • Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication and service.
  • Support customers throughout their credit application journey.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve service and business objectives.
Candidate Requirements
  • APA Qualified in Loans and Regulations (QFA pathway candidates welcome).
  • Previous experience within a banking, lending, financial services, or credit environment.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Experience engaging with customers over the phone.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Desirable Experience
  • Credit assessment or underwriting experience.
  • Lending, collections, or account management experience.
  • Previous experience working within a regulated financial institution.
  • Knowledge of consumer lending and financial regulations.
