Our client, a well-established accountancy practice based in Galway, is currently seeking a Qualified Auditor to join their growing team. Your new role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering audit engagements for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. Working closely with partners and senior staff, the role will involve leading audits from planning through to completion while maintaining strong client relationships.

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
• Supervise and support junior staff during audit engagements
• Ensure all work is completed in line with professional and regulatory standards
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting and advisory work where required

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment

• Strong audit experience is essential

• Experience working as an Audit Senior or similar level is highly desirable

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Strong communication and client-facing abilities
