Your new company

Our client is a well-established and growing retail organisation with stores located across the region. Known for their commitment to customer service and employee development, they are seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad HR experience in a fast-paced retail environment where no two days are the same.

Your new role

As HR Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR function across multiple retail stores. You will work closely with store managers and employees, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and in line with company policies.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing employee records and maintaining HR databases.
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including advertising roles, scheduling interviews and issuing contracts.
  • Coordinating onboarding and induction processes for new starters.
  • Assisting with absence management, employee relations administration and HR reporting.
  • Supporting payroll administration by ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Travelling regularly to retail stores to provide HR support, conduct audits, assist with training initiatives and build strong relationships with management teams.
  • Responding to employee HR queries and providing administrative support across the full employee life cycle.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Assistant or similar position.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A professional and confidential approach to handling employee information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel between retail store locations.
  • An HR qualification or working towards one would be advantageous.
