Staff management role for an experienced Qualified Financial Accountant with strong General Ledger experience

Leading Irish organisation with a national remit require an experienced Finance Manager to join their Head Office finance team.

A senior financial accounting and reporting role, you will be responsible for the general ledger function, including management of a small team

Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, supervising 3 staff

This team is responsible for areas such as:

  • General ledger maintenance and month-end close
  • General Ledger Journal input
  • Accruals/prepayments
  • Fixed assets
  • Statutory returns
  • Internal controls
  • Process improvement
  • Balance sheet/control account reconciliation
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Liaison with auditors

Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant with 3 years+ pqe, who has good staff management, reporting and analytical experience; someone who possesses strong Excel skills, SAP/ERP experience an asset but not essential

Salary €70K - €78K (depending on experience)
