Your new role

Financial Reporting – Senior Consultant
Reporting to a Divisional Manager or Head of Financial Reporting Ireland Operations – Limerick


Responsible for identifying and interpreting changes to accounting standards and regulations that will impact the client allocation within the department, as well as liaising with external audit firms to develop solutions regarding the impact of such changes.
The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the review of financial statements across the department, in addition to identifying and implementing best practice across teams. The candidate will work closely with the training department to identify training needs and develop best practice solutions for Ireland FR and our outsourced locations.
The candidate will also work with the management team in regard to client servicing, new business opportunities and client due diligence presentations.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Must have proven experience in the investment management industry acquired through working in the fund administration, asset management or securities operations industry or audit industry.
  • Financial reporting experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building qualities and an ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong communication, first class presentation and internal and external client-service skills.
  • Evidence of successful negotiation skills
  • Detailed knowledge of both onshore and offshore funds administration. In particular, Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS experience.
  • Working knowledge of the Irish regulatory regime as it relates to Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting.
  • Experience of designing and implementing development plans, training plans, best practice solutions for all levels of staff in various locations
  • Be an effective communicator, motivator, coach and mentor.
