Your New Role
In your new role as Senior Architectural Technologist, you will lead a team of Technologists across multiple projects. This role is critical in ensuring company design solutions are of the highest quality, delivered on schedule, and within budget. The Senior Architectural Technologist will take responsibility for the production, supervision, and delivery of design solutions, as well as ensuring a smooth handover of design packages to the construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple architectural projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance and support to the architectural team, ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
- Design Development: Work closely with architects and other team members to develop detailed design solutions, including preparation of detailed construction drawings and specifications.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their requirements are met.
- Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all work meets the firm's high standards.
- Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the firm.
What You Need to Succeed
- Must hold a degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience, ideally within an Irish Architectural Firm.
- Excellent knowledge & experience of Irish Planning, Building Regulations, Building Control, and Irish Health & Safety legislation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Proficiency in Revit is desirable.
