A well-established Facilities contractor based in Dublin, specialising in design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for the commercial, industrial, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors. Responsibilities
- Follow all site safety procedures and permit‑to‑work systems
- Assist with inspections, testing, and compliance checks
- Provide handovers to oncoming shift teams
- Experience working in critical facilities environments, such as Data Centres Pharmaceutical projects.
- Hands-on experience with generators, including diesel generators & gas generators
- Strong knowledge of transformers and their operation/maintenance
- Familiarity and experience with SCADA systems (monitoring, control, and troubleshooting)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults in high availability environments
- Experience maintaining electrical systems to ensure continuous uptime in critical settings
- Comfortable working within shift-based operations and responding to emergencies as needed.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Support the operation of UPS, switchgear, generators, and other critical equipment
- Diagnose electrical faults and restore systems safely and efficiently
- Complete shift logs, reports, and CMMS updates
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Fully qualified electrician (Level 6 or equivalent)
- AP Training is a big advantage
- Experience in Data Centres and Pharma Projects is Essential
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills
