Tender Delivery Procurement Lead | 1 year | Hybrid | Cork

Your new company

Looking for an exciting new challenge in procurement? We are seeking a Tender Delivery Procurement Lead to join our client's business in Cork for a 12-month duration. Our client is a well established & growing semi - state organisation. They offer hybrid working and work 35 hours a week (Mon - Fri, 9am -5pm).

Your new role

The job requires ensuring that tenders and contracts comply with EU Procurement Regulations and internal policies. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the tender process, providing procurement expertise and guidance to evaluation teams and acting as an escalation point for the Tender Delivery Team. They will be responsible for ensuring effective internal controls in the Supply Chain Tender Delivery process, providing high-quality customer service, and driving tenders on schedule. The candidate will also collaborate with the Tender Delivery Managers to identify opportunities for standardisation and continuous improvement. Other duties may be assigned as required.

What you'll need to succeed

The job requires a candidate with at least five years of experience in a similar role and a relevant third-level qualification. The candidate should have knowledge of developing and issuing tender documentation including PQQ/ITT, both under OJEU and independent of OJEU. They should also have an understanding of Irish contract law. The candidate should have experience of manipulating data and project management, with the ability to develop and execute plans, manage teams, stakeholder groups, and develop stakeholder communication plans, and identify and manage risks and issues. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of the end-to-end strategic and tactical sourcing process and the ability to anticipate supply chain information and service requirements.
