Your new employer is a well-established, Irish-owned company who specialise in trade and value-add products. They have a global customer base and are now seeking a Supply Chain Executive to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with business goals. You will also manage and optimise inventory levels, oversee logistics operations, and ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers. You will liaise with customers, suppliers, and hauliers to ensure orders are collected and delivered on time. You will also prepare and send all necessary paperwork to the shipping agent on time. Additionally, you will maintain records for customs and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Responsibilities also include updating and posting on LinkedIn, writing engaging blogs on our website, and ensuring the SEO of our website and LinkedIn are up-to-date. You'll also have the opportunity to work on customer experience analysis, sending out questionnaires to customers and recording the analysis. You'll work on group projects with different departments to find ways to improve customer service.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role, and a strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and tools. You should also have the proven ability to manage and optimise complex supply chain operations, excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, and proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Customs knowledge is a plus!
