Java Developer - Contract - Dublin 3 days onsite per week

You will be working for a multinational, Fortune 500 investment bank and financial services corporation based in the heart of Dublin City centre. What will you be working on?
You will be an integral part of the Treasury and Trade Solutions Technology team who are responsible for developing a company-wide Treasury funding platform on a Java microservices architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects within Treasury and Trade Solutions Technology, collaborating with technology SMEs and business owners managing systems and business groups across the bank to develop this franchise-critical strategic platform. The application is designed to process significant volumes of data from multiple upstream systems, which requires straight through processing functionality and user interactions for exceptional circumstances.
What are we looking for?
We are looking to speak with candidates with strong experience in application development roles using Java, along with Core Java 8+ and JUnit framework expertise. You will be well versed in Spring Boot, REST API, multi threading concepts and design patterns. Along with this, you will have excellent communication skills with a willingness to work with front and back end systems. Knowledge of Kubernetes would be sought after but no essential.
