Working proudly in partnership with the Child & Family Agency (TUSLA), to implement individualised care packages to maximise the outcomes for the children and young people in their care.

With the supervision of company Consultant Psychiatrist, your new company strive to implement therapeutic and clinical approaches to meet the needs of the young people who they are afforded the opportunity to care for. Your new role
As part of your new role as a social care worker you will be an active part of a care team to with the main goal of ensuring the best possible outcomes for the young people in your care.
To promote teamwork, perform administrative duties as required and to perform key working roles when selected to do so / required.
To take part in the company’s Performance Development Plan through full participation in the annual assessment and appraisals.
Responsibilities to the young person. To collaborate directly with the young person in the residential centre, ensuring their needs are met through a variety of activities as dictated by the placement plan, Individual Crisis Management Plan and other relevant guidelines.
To build professional relationships and effective communication with the young people while acting as a role model for them.
To collaborate with the Person in Charge to ensure that on admission to our service young people are provided with all the information they might require and to welcome them and make them feel at home.
To use house meetings to improve the care services provided to the young people. To encourage and help the young people to maintain contact with their families, where proper, and following their placement plan

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new role, you will hold a minimum of a level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care or related field or the following relevant equivalent qualifications must be at a minimum of a level 7 in Nursing / Psychiatric Nursing Psychology, Teaching Social Science Youth & Community Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy Social Work. In addition to this, you will have experience in working in a Social Care supportive role, ideally with children and teenagers is a community support setting, in either a residential or day service. Willingness to work 24-hour shift patter (15+9) . Full driving licence advantage not essential.
