Your new role
The Team Leader will manage a team and undertake individual work with families and customers who face chronic exclusion due to their many complex needs. You will work collaboratively with your team to provide support to vulnerable adults exiting homelessness, particularly those with health support needs. You will empower clients by respecting their rights and diversity and treating them with dignity and respect. You will provide effective care and support by acknowledging the challenges your clients face and dealing with situations sensitively. You will assess the needs of the clients in your care, advocate on their behalf and provide support in making appropriate referrals.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as a Team Leader you will have a QQI level 7 qualification in Social Care, Youth and Family Studies or another related field. You will have 2 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year in an Supervisory role within Social Care. You will have availability to work Monday to Friday. You should have good written, oral and IT skills. Conflict resolution skills and a good understanding of low threshold services and the harm reduction model would make you a strong candidate.
