Your new company is one of Ireland's largest Self-build Apartment Developer and Homebuilder with a mature and scaled end-to-end operating platform. They are now seeking to recruit a highly experienced Site Manager. Your business has the resources and capabilities to deliver a choice of new homes where people want to live now and into the future.
Your New Role
Your new role within the organisation as a Site Manager will be based in Kildare. The developer is increasing their workforce and requires a strong Site Manager to join their team to be responsible for one hundred new residential, semi-detached houses with building to take twenty-four months to finish.
Your responsibilities will include: Overall site management / supervision, Health and Safety, ordering of materials and any other management related duties.
This role would suit an experienced, highly motivated site manager looking to progress in their career with a reputable housing developer. You will be responsible for ensuring that others comply with the relevant building standards and regulations, and you will communicate with senior level management, ensuring that the work is performed in accordance with the best industry standards.
What You'll Need to Succeed
You will have to have proven experience as a Site Manager in the residential space. You will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate your teams is important to the success of this role. Prior experience in site management is essential while having a keen eye for detail and prior management experience of trades and subcontractor staff. Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations is important and also having excellent communication and organisational abilities is key to your employer. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to: Day to-day on site running of the construction project, supervision of subcontractors with an emphasis on quality standards, receiving and processing of project orders whilst also looking after budgets and working towards project deadlines.
