Vacancy for a Senior Structural Engineer with a leading engineering consultancy in Limerick


Your new company
This is an opportunity to join a Leading Irish Engineering Consultancy in Limerick that provide broad range of Engineering services for both the Commercial and Residential sectors. Specialising in Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, Planning and Fire Safety and Building Reports. They are currently looking to add a Senior Structural Engineer to their experienced team.

Your new role
In your new role as a Senior Structural Engineer, you will work on developing your technical expertise, as well as your managerial and business abilities. Be responsible for establishing the scope of and managing the delivery of all project deliverables including drawings, reports, designs etc. Monitoring the progress of project and ensuring effective project delivery. Make sure the output quality is kept at a high level. Participation in all required meetings and carry out site inspections. Establish new client relationships and maintain existing ones. Develop junior team members talents through mentoring, delegation, and training.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or similar. Ideally 5+ years relevant experience working in a consulting engineers. Chartered or near Chartered is an advantage. Experience in structural design on a broad range of projects and structure types. In depth knowledge of structural engineering design best practice and practical solutions. Experience with Ireland and/or UK projects. Client facing experience managing projects from start to finish. Experience inspecting structural works as an Ancillary Certifier.
