Senior finance role for a Qualified Accountant with strong operational accounting/change management experience
A leading Irish organisation with a national remit require a Senior Finance Professional to head up their accounting operations function, you will have full responsibility for the financial management of group operational activities in key areas
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a high profile financial management role, leading a team of 10-12 staff. The role will include management of the day to day operations to include the month end process, management of various projects to include IT upgrades and providing regulatory reporting support - compliance etc
Key Tasks include:
Direct all aspects of the finance and accounting operational functions of the group whilst leading a strong team
Provide financial support for the management of capital projects
Manage accounting functions to include taxation, production of financial information, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general Ledger
Act as a financial advisor to the Senior Leadership Team on all operational accounting matters
Ensure high standards of financial control and reporting are in place
Ideally you will be an ambitious Senior Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA) with 8-10 years pqe, some-one who can champion change and drive continuous improvement in how a business is managed, who has good staff management experience and is able to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary €90K-€110K (depending on experience) pension, bonus, 27 days annual leave, prof membership fees paid, parking, hybrid working - 3 days in the office
