Marketing Manager - International Organisation - FMCG Marketing - Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Your new company:

My client is looking for a creative and innovative Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join their Marketing Department and lead the constantly evolving Digital Marketing team on an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract. As a Senior Digital Marketing Manager you will have extensive digital marketing experience and strong leadership skills to manage a diverse department area made up of a range of creative and administrative skillsets. This is a varied and interesting role for the right candidate.

Your new role:

You will be leading the Digital Marketing for Ireland and Northern Ireland – made up of the Social Media and Digital Production teams. You will manage 3 direct reports and an overall department area of 8 people and with the support of your teams, the role will have ownership of my clients social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube as well as owned digital channels such as company website, the digital leaflet and the email newsletter. Overall budget management for all social media and digital production activity will be an important part of this role as well as working hand in hand with the Senior Media Manager to develop paid digital and paid social strategies. You will be managing digital agency partner and being main point of contact for all campaign briefings. Delivering presentations at Board Director and Director level will be a requirement while working closely with key internal stakeholders and departments to plan and create content. Attending video and photography shoots with agency and production partners will be a part of this role. As a senior member of the department you will lead meetings, briefings and brainstorming sessions on behalf of the entire Marketing Department. Identifying opportunities for digital innovation is a requirement and also liaising with PR / Customer Services as the social media lead within the crisis management team.

What you'll need to succeed:

5+ years experience in digital marketing across agency or in-house. Experience working for a large-scale brand in Ireland at a senior level. Experience managing a large team or department. Demonstrable experience developing and implementing large-scale social platform strategies within the Irish market. Experience working within retail market desirable but not essential. Experience presenting at c-suite level essential. Exceptional copywriting skills with experience writing to brand tone of voice. Highly creative with an eye for design and strong attention to detail. Ensure work is carried out and completed in a controlled, compliant, timely and accurate manner with emphasis on attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Full driving license.
