This is an opportunity to join a Leading Irish Engineering Consultancy in Limerick that provide broad range of Engineering services for both the Commercial and Residential sectors. Specialising in Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, Planning and Fire Safety and Building Reports. They are currently looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to their experienced team.

Your new role
In your new Senior Civil Engineer role, you will work on developing your technical expertise, as well as your managerial and business abilities. Be responsible for establishing the scope of and managing the delivery of all project deliverables including drawings, reports, etc. Monitoring the progress of project and ensuring effective project delivery. Make sure the output quality is kept at a high level. Participation in all required meetings and carry out site inspections. Establish new client relationships and maintain existing ones. Develop your teams talents through mentoring, delegation, and training.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or similar. Ideally 5+ years relevant experience working in a consulting engineers. Chartered or near Chartered is an advantage. Broad knowledge of civil engineering design best practice and practical solutions. Experience with Ireland and/or UK projects. Client facing experience managing the civil engineering aspects of projects from start to finish. Demonstrate a proven track record managing and delivering civil engineering aspects of projects. Ability to define potential problem issues, collect data, establish, and report on facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
