Your new role
You will slot in as the Senior Accountant on the team, with the view to progressing to Finance Manager within 12 months. You will initially be responsible for the month-end process - posting journals/adjustments, management accounts, cashflows, budgeting, variance analysis etc - as well as year-end statutory reporting and managing the audit. Developing other team members is also a key part of the role as well as playing a central role in a systems upgrade to continue their move to a paperless environment.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with at least 3 years PQE working in a financial accounting environment industry. Audit experience is an advantage but not essential, as is previous knowledge of systems/accounting software upgrades. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must as is excellent attention-to-detail. You will have strong technical accounting knowledge and exhibit a positive and flexible attitude as it is a very varied role, there will be a lot of ad hoc projects to facilitate the growth of the company.
