Your new company is a logistics company in Cork with offices across Ireland. They are now looking for a Sea Freight Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Sea Freight Operations individual will report to the Operations Manager and provide professional and efficient sea freight operations services to both internal and external customers. The main duties include processing shipment bookings, monitoring shipments, providing high levels of customer service, liaising with local and international vendors and agents, processing invoices, and customs clearance awareness. Additional duties include assisting with holiday cover, providing administration support to other freight departments, occasional customer visits, and projects.

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. You should also have strong communication skills and be able to provide exceptional customer service. 1–2 years' experience in the freight industry is preferred, but not essential.
