What will you be working on?

You will be an integral part of the Finance Systems team, which sits within the wider Finance Operations of the organisation. As a Senior Finance Systems Specialist, the aim of your position will be to deliver the optimum utilisation of Finance Systems and promote the best process within these systems. Working closely with the Financial Accounting Manager, you will support ongoing enhancements to finance SAP systems, resolving complex queries and issues within Finance Operations / FP&A, RTP and other business users and SAP specialists. Along with this, you will work on improvement and upgrade projects, deliver systems training workshops, and co-ordinate systems testing as required. Furthermore, you will be responsible for functional support for Performance Management reports (assess and scope impact and testing required for changes, system upgrades etc., perform unit, SIT testing and sometimes user acceptance and regression testing, resolve user queries and issues).

What are we looking for?

We are looking to speak with candidates who have a recognised professional accounting qualification or equivalent relevant work experience. You will have strong experience in SAP (Financial Accounting, Controlling and Project System Modules desired), and S/4 HANA also. You will be a systematic problem solver, with an ability to implement solutions and to solve root cause of problems, along with possessing an excellent understanding of end-to-end financial processes and systems. Imperative to this position is the knowledge of SAP financial systems with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. SAP GRC experience with knowledge on GRC risk management an advantage
