Your new role
In your new role as a Relief Social Care Worker, you will support Service Users by following the support and care plans created by their keyworkers. You will work as part of a team to ensure the highest quality of care for each individual in your care, supporting them to reach their full potential. As a Relief Social Care, you will be responsible for advocating for service users’ rights. Your new role also requires administrative duties such as the completion of handovers and recording of important data.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as a Relief Social Care Worker you will have a minimum QQI level 7 qualification in Social Care or a similar Social Care degree. You will ideally have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role. You will complete all necessary trainings prior to starting work. You should have flexibility around working day, evening, and night shifts to meet the demands of the service. Experience in health and safety inspections and audits would make you a strong candidate.
