Your new role
In your new role as a Specialist in Regulatory Reporting your responsibilities will be mainly focused on providing oversight of key controls and processes, in order to ensure high quality provision of regulatory reporting. You will help verifying ongoing compliance with the regulatory requirements as well as review, design and enhance KPIs relevant to regulations while assisting with reporting to senior management and key stakeholders. Huge part of a role will include review of trade, position and transaction reporting validation and reconciliation exceptions pertaining to trade / transaction data submitted to numerous National Competent Authorities.
The overall objective of the role is to work in conjunction with the Reporting team peers in Northern Ireland and Supporting the supervisory team, including senior Management to highlight issues and raise solutions through interpretation of submitted data.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in Regulatory reporting or Risk and Control environment. Experience of MiFID II or SFTR reporting would be a huge advantage. It would be preferable if you had experience of exception-based controls and processing, and experience of compiling large volume of data followed by analysing results. You will also have experience working within a control environment and good understanding of impact of external factors such as regulatory changes on departmental strategy.
