Refrigeration Service Engineer, Dublin
Your new company
With depots based in Dublin, Cork and Roscommon, your new company is a service and repair company for the transport refrigeration industry. They specialise in a range of products and services from food safety, pharmaceutical compliance, and temperature mapping. They offer a first-class service to their customers through their high-quality maintenance programmes that keep your refrigeration systems and tail lifts on the road for longer as they tailor their maintenance packages to their customer’s needs. They are now looking for field service engineers to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As a field service engineer with this company, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing refrigeration transport systems for their clients. You will be working as part of a larger team to provide excellent customer service in a busy environment. Your time will be split between the new workshop in Dublin and serving various customers around Leinster. You will carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on transport refrigeration vans. Call out and overtime will also be a part of this role.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous refrigeration experience is essential to this role. Successful candidates will have experience working with transport refrigeration units ideally, but other refrigeration experience will be considered too. They will also be able to work off their own initiative and as part of a team, have excellent communication and customer service skills. A full clean B driver's licence along with a set of tools are required
What you'll get in return
Excellent working conditions - new workshop and equipment A competitive salary as well as over time and on call pay. Over time is paid at time and a half and double pay on Sundays. There is €50 paid per day on call also. Benefits include a company van, phone and laptop as well as a pension up to 5% and death in service payment.
