Quality Engineer required for top manufacturing company in north Dublin

Our client is a family-owned Irish company who have been dedicated to the supply of crop protection products for over 30 years. Although their main focus is glyphosate, they also specialise in a growing range of herbicides and fungicides for the broad-acre market. The client focusses on understanding and fulfilling the needs of customers on a local and European level using the highest quality standards and dedicated service
Your new roleCentered on maintaining Non-Glyphosate product quality and compliance, this role involves overseeing Non-Glyphosate analysis, monitoring KPIs, ensuring updated procedures, troubleshooting HPLC issues, coordinating MSDS, co-formulant organisation, formulation studies, report writing, sample dispatch.
Key responsibilities consist of :
- Conduct Non-Glyphosate quality control analysis.
- Update, display, and report on Non-Glyphosate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure that non-Glyphosate procedures are current and up to date.
- Assist in investigations related to product quality.
- Troubleshooting issues with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- Coordinate Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for Finished Products
- Carry out formulations for alternative sources and co-formulants, Conducting compatibility studies, investigational formulations for quality issues, inclusive of in-house storage stability pre and post-tests.
- Writing reports and presenting findings.
- Prepare and dispatch samples using the sample dispatch request system.
- 1-2 years of experience, providing quality assurance in a chemical or agricultural environment or other relevant industry.
- Relevant Professional Development, such as GAFTA, HACCP or ISO accreditation training would be an advantage.
- 3rd Level engineering qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. Food/Agri or chemical.

Salary ranging from €32,000 to €36,000 (DOE).
The provider is Laya. The policy is company paid – employees are only liable for BIK
3% Employer contribution after successful completion of your probationary period. There is no requirement for employees to contribute, but you are welcome to do so. The company will match your contribution up to a maximum of 5%.
