Your new company is a market leading construction business based in Cork City. This includes executing high quality residential and commercial builds, site and material procurement and property management on project completion.
Your new role
- You will be responsible for the Procurement and Purchasing Dept. in a rapidly growing business.
- You will review current market prices and seek the best price available
- You will set up new Projects BoQ and coding each material items to ensure easy & accessible reporting.
- You will actively review the current market prices and negotiate for best price available with manufacturers and suppliers
- You will manage the ordering of materials and plant to each project, keeping within the budget
- You will compile relevant monthly reports
What you'll need to succeed
You will have good interpersonal and people management skills. Ideally, you will have knowledge of building products and experience in compiling monthly reports. You will have experience with Procurement/Purchasing systems. You will have the proven ability to manage project site teams. You will have CIPS/CPSM/CSCP Diploma in Purchasing & Procurement. You must have minimum of 5+ years’ experience in procurement and purchasing, ideally working within the residential/commercial sectors of the Irish Construction Industry.
