Hays Recruitment are delighted to have partnered with one of the leading estate agents in the Irish Property sector. Our client specialises in providing property management services for Private Rental Sector investor landlords. Due to expansion they are seeking a Property Manager for Residential Tenancy Management. Your new office will be based in Dublin City Centre. You will be surrounded by an excellent team who are highly experienced in the property industry.

Your new role
A PRS Portfolio Manager will be self-motivated with a goal and results orientation, have excellent relationship management skills and be able to display a proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels. We are seeking a candidate who is energetic, highly organised, thrives in a fast-paced environment and who is eager to learn.

The Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the role are as follows;

  • Ensure the smooth running of all new lettings and re-lettings under both individual and PRS landlords actioned by team members.
  • Ensure the smooth running of all new lettings and re-lettings undertaken for the portfolio they will be managing.
  • Ensuring Service agreements are completed.
  • Formulating weekly reports for designated portfolio and providing informative updates to landlords and superiors where required.
  • Oversee and advise on the work of the lettings team, resolving any issues that come their way by working with relevant parties (internal & external).
  • Attending and managing RTB dispute cases on behalf of our clients.
  • Issuing Rent Reviews on behalf of our clients.
  • Assisting with writing applications/tenders for business development (requires a reasonable level of writing skill and attention to detail.)
  • Experience with Yardi CRM System most preferred.
  • Tracking upcoming available properties.
  • Checkout and turnover of vacant properties.
  • Production of inventories and photographs.
  • Production of condition reports.
  • Budget preparation and expectation.
  • Carrying out property inspections.
  • Ensure all management systems are kept up to date and maintained.
  • Reporting to landlord/Client – weekly / monthly / quarterly.
  • Coaching of apprentices and trainees.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancy Act.


What you'll need to succeed
  • PRSA license desirable but not essential.
  • Full clean driver’s License.
  • 3-6 years’ experience as a Residential Property Manager.
  • Honesty and Integrity.
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills with good system knowledge.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with management of block property management as well as knowledge of property legislation in Ireland.
  • Experience with Yardi CRM System most preferred.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills


What you'll get in return
This role offers a competitive salary from €50,000 to €60,000 depending on experience as well as a standard employee benefits package which includes an annual bonus, pension contribution and 21 days annual leave. You will receive mileage allowance for any travel expenses incurred on the job. This role also offers some flexibility with hybrid working.
