A non-profit organisation that provides services for people who are homeless and people at risk of homelessness in are seeking a Project Worker to join their growing team on a permanent basis in County Tipperary. Your new role
You will be reporting to the team leader. You will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to building professional relationships and work effectively with a wide range of agencies and professionals in the community and all sectors, conduct assessments as well as develop, monitor and update care plans in consultation with customers. To contribute to the formulation of a customer’s needs assessment and support plan utilizing the organisations policies and procedures, PASS system and keep up to date case work records and develop community links with accommodation and service providers to ensure a collaborative approach in working with customers while ensuring you are vigilant to any Health, Safety and Welfare risks in the workplace.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have direct experience with a third level qualification at degree level in the area of social care, f ull drivers’ licence with own transport, working knowledge and understanding of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model, great attention to detail with the ability to work off your own initiative in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills, computer literacy, with the drive to build strong relationships and have the ability to plan and implement programmes
