They are now looking for a project engineer to join their team in Ringaskiddy on a 12 month contract.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for the development, growth and delivery a portfolio of projects. These projects will involve the development and deployment of new products and process technologies to multiple manufacturing locations. Also, work to reduce the cost of the company’s existing products through collaboration with R&D and development of next generation process technologies and capabilities.
Your main duties will include investigating and suggesting a pipeline of inspection technologies to be implemented in the manufacturing plants to dramatically improve product inspection costs and/or efficiencies for new and existing products, to support and drive the implementation Lean Equipment Design Methodologies within the Centre, provide guidance to product and technology teams and provide timely and accurate central reporting on project activities to the project sponsors and senior management
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 1 year’s previous engineering experience within a Medical Device manufacturing environment and a degree in a relevant engineering specialism or similar.
Key traits in an ideal candidate are a flexible work ethic, strong influencing skills and excellent communication skills, problem solving skills to assist in maintaining project progress and on design issues and excellent planning and organizing skills.
You will also be comfortable with decision making and working off your own initiative as you will be required to make decisions on technical and management issues as well as managing and developing the team
What you'll get in return
A competitive hourly rate of max €30.56 PAYE and €38.87 LTD, equivalent of approximately €61,000 to €72,000 annual salary and the chance to work with an internationally recognised company.
