Project Director required for a Data Centre Contractor in Dublin
One of Ireland's leading M&E Contractors that have been undertaking CSA works for the past couple of years require a number of senior staff for a roles on Data Centre project based in Grangecastle. They are known for getting repeat business from their data centre clients. They are on course to have a turnover of €1bn in 2022 and have projects secured in both Ireland and Europe until the end of 2025. They are known to be a good company culture and are developing into a tech type company, heavily invested in BIM, CIPD etc
They are looking to appoint a Project Director that will oversee an entire project team of Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical & Electrical Supervisors, Engineers, Administrative staff, and Sub Contractors as they carry out CSA, Mechanical & Electrical installation and ensure the project programme is kept.

Responsibilities
- Ensuring efficient and effective engineering and innovation performance shaping the program and delivery of the project.
- Develop Project Planning Strategies - collaborating with the project teams to manage and motivate them
- Manage, track and develop plans for project costs, budgets, project labour, commissioning procedures and project performance.
- Directing set up for the project, making sure that best practice meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset.
- Continuous engagement with Key project stakeholders such as Client and Design Teams to ensure Project performance.
- Overseeing ongoing client satisfaction with the project, especially in terms of cost, scope, and timescales
- Proactively monitoring the project's health & safety processes as well as the team's culture and behaviours
- Monitor and ensure the Quality targets are achieved and exceeded on the project
Skills & Qualifications
- A BSc in a relevant construction or engineering subject.
- Previous experience in a similar role, delivering a project from design to completion, including within a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is essential with experience in delivering one or several concurrent projects more than €50 million value.
- Data Centre experience is advantageous
