Your new role
Reporting to the Innovation Delivery Manager and working closely with the Innovation Project Manager, the Project Administrator/Analyst will support and assist in the coordination of collaborative projects with both internal departments and external stakeholders; maximising the benefits innovation can deliver by gathering the best ideas, managing innovation projects effectively and working with our innovation partners and internal teams focusing on continuous improvement.

  • Provide administrative and analysis support to the Innovation Project Manager.
  • Support the Innovation Delivery Manager and Innovation Project Manager in the development, management of projects.
  • Drive the promotion of Innovation and the development and implementation of a communications plan to provide awareness internally and externally.
  • Support the Innovation Delivery team to establish business case rationale and ensure that approved projects have relevant evidence on the scope, cost, and rational for impacts of each project.
  • Support the governance, evaluation, and selection of projects for innovation funding or co-funding.
  • Coordination and assistance in the development of innovation plans and development proposals.
  • Support the development and execution of collaboration agreements or service contracts for the delivery of projects and the protection or dissemination of information.
  • Responsible for monitoring the finance tracker and monthly accruals of the respective GIF funds.
  • Manage all purchase requisitions and purchase orders and ensure compliance with frameworks, PD02 /PD03 via Oracle.
  • Point of contact for the PC4 Project sponsors to support them with the role of the sponsor including contract signing, project reporting and milestone payments.
  • Devising a reporting framework for the PC5 GIF to meet CRU requirements.
  • Compiling monthly update on project status and progress for the Innovation Delivery Department.
  • Monitor the innovation mailbox correspondence including responding to queries from applicants and compile applications to be reviewed.


What you'll need to succeed
Qualification in a Business or equivalent with minimum 3 years’ experience, relevant to the role
Good knowledge, understanding and experience of Innovation practices and Energy Industry is an advantage.
Experience in New Product or Service Development is an advantage.
Have excellent analytical skills and be able to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements, and generate new ideas, and implement solutions
Direct experience in the implementation of improvement programs, process development, quality initiatives and management system standards is an advantage.
Highly numerate, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good attention to detail.
Excellent PC skills and a strong working knowledge of SharePoint.
Proven ability to create and develop good working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment from others .
