Management/Project Accountant Job - Construction & Property - Dublin South

This role will be based in the Irish entity out of the Dublin city office and a level of hybrid working will be available. Your new role
Reporting to the Project Controller and Project Finance Director, you will work as part of a team of 5 in finance. You will be working on a multi billion € project and this role focuses contract and cashflow management and various reporting aspects.
On the reporting side you will be tasked with preparing and coordinating quarterly management reports, liaising with lenders, capital partners and investors on reporting requirements and supporting lender reports and financial convent analysis. You will also review quarterly management accounts and support the delivery of board packages.
In addition you will manage the annual audit process and liaise with external tax advisors to ensure all VAT and tax submissions are carried out on time.
In terms of contract and cashflow management, you will support Accounts Payable to ensure payment runs are accurate and untime, checking payments against budgets and contracts, preparing cashflow forecasts and carrying out working capital reporting.
You will also assist with equity draws and debt utilisations, managing the flow of information and funds across all stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a newly or recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) who is big 4 or top 10 trained. This is a great first move for someone coming out of training contract who are looking for a varied role in industry. Previous experience in the property industry would be advantageous and experience with JD Edwards software would also be considered advantageous. A hard-working, diligent and solution-driven accountant will do well in this role. Team rapport is big thing here, so someone confident and outgoing will fit in really well with this team.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a salary of €60,000 - €65,000 depending on your PQE, plus up to 10% bonus. You will also enjoy benefits such as full private medical and dental insurance cover, 23 days annual leave increasing with service up to 30 days over time, flexible working options and opportunities to progress within the company. For the initial training period this role will be based in the office and then a level of hybrid working will become available.
