Portfolio Lead - Dublin Hybrid - 6-12 months

Your new role
The Portfolio and Governance team are looking for a Portfolio Lead to join the Business Change function responsible for the delivery and management of core portfolio activities relating to Portfolio Value management and PMO capability planning/development across the Business Change Portfolio of programmes/projects. The Portfolio Lead will be responsible for the management of portfolio value management processes for all business change initiatives across the business. You will engage with the business to define, prioritise and manage the portfolio of change and transformation programmes. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of portfolio management framework and supporting processes. You will engage with key business stakeholders to identify all new project requests / demands centrally, and in-line with business plan priorities. You will work with the Business Stakeholder to develop a fit for purpose Value Proposition including Business Case to the required standards. You will develop and maintain a single annual portfolio plan by engaging with key stakeholders across the organisation. You will ensure a comprehensive Portfolio resourcing capacity assessment and deliverability (Financial/Systems/Change/Resourcing) assessment including options analysis is conducted to support regular look back / look forward activities. You will identify and manage the key portfolio risks and issues, ensuring effective reporting and mitigations in place.

What you'll need to succeed
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Relevant 3rd level qualification in Business, IT or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management processes including best practice frameworks is required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record in dealing with complex stakeholder environments, managing competing priorities with demand forecast in excess of available supply of resources
  • Strong MS Office skills including Word / PowerPoint / Excel
  • An EEA, Irish passport or Stamp 4 visa. (No sponsorship will be provided)
