Your new role
In your new role as a Project Worker, you are offered an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic service which aims to provide holistic support to some of the most vulnerable in our society. You will provide effective care and support by acknowledging the challenges your clients face and dealing with situations sensitively. You will support the needs of your client group including, one to one key work interventions, assisting with issues around sensitive disclosures, delivering sanctions and assisting with referrals. You will educate clients of all local supports they can avail of. You will collaborate with colleagues and volunteers to promote the wellbeing of clients.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as a Project Worker you will have a QQI level 7 qualification in Social Care or another related field. You will have 1 year of experience working with homelessness, and availability 12 hour shifts, from Monday to Sunday. You should have good knowledge of legislation and policy related to addiction and homelessness. It would be advantageous to have experience as a key worker and care planner. Conflict resolution skills and a good understanding of low threshold services and the harm reduction model would make you a strong candidate.
