Your new role

• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support the Finance Manager in the analysis of financial data and the preparation of financial forecasts.
• Help in the preparation and consolidation of departmental budgets.
• Monitor budget variances and assist in the preparation of variance analysis reports.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and the maintenance of accurate records.
• Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
• Assist in implementing audit recommendations and improving internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Provide support to the Finance Manager and other team members as needed.
• Actively pursue further professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Stay updated with current accounting standards and best practices.
