The company has been growing rapidly over the past number of years and are continuing to grow. Firstly, the demand for its products and services have grown and there is also growth, through Mergers and Acquisitions. With a large workforce, employees tend to stay as they are seen as key to the companies success. The Finance team are working a Remote system which will ultimately go to a Hybrid model.
Your new role
You will assist with the accounting function for multiple legal entities. You will be involved in the optimisation of the Finance function to ensure best practice in reporting systems, internal control framework and IT systems. This is an interesting and varied role designed to achieve an accountancy qualification. You will be contributing to the monthly and quarterly closing process for multiple entities. You will be assisting with the annual external audit. You will be responsible for financial analysis and KPI delivery. You will be involved in treasury tasks. You will be assisting with accounting systems development. You will continuously review and improvement of processes. You will support all aspects of the Accounts Payable function. Other tasks / duties that may be required in order to perform the role and support the finance function.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a relevant third level degree with a desire to work towards a professional qualification. you will be a diligent, hard-working, takes ownership of tasks. you will be organised, accurate, with good productivity and attention to detail. You will be passionate about process improvement. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to liaise with people at all levels across the organisation. You must be highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast moving environment. You will have strong IT skills / Excel
