Your new company
Your new company produces products that are enjoyed by consumers in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. They are committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability is at the heart of their business. They are now seeking an Order Management Specialist to join their busy office in Cork for 6 months.

Your new role
You will provide an efficient telephone service, working as a team to ensure cover at all times, acting as the customer co-ordinator for all order queries and provide professional customer service. You will run regular reports to identify trends and issues with orders, and resolve them where necessary. You will develop a great understanding of customer terms and conditions, in particular minimum and maximum delivery volumes. You will liaise with transport planning, warehouse colleagues and customers to resolve any delivery disputes in a timely manner, and take the necessary steps to avoid reoccurrence. You will challenge and investigate all return requests by liaising with customers and their national account manager. You will stay up to date with all the relevant promotional activity and work with customers to ensure promotional and new launches are managed in line with the company guidelines. You will work closely with relevant planning team and the customers to check that order volumes are in line with forecasts. You will communicate daily with customer contacts regarding delivery or timeliness issues and to re-book any failed deliveries.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous data entry and order processing experience, and a good knowledge of order-take systems or SAP, or have the ability to learn and adapt to bespoke systems and processes. You will have highly effective customer service skills to build and maintain very good working relationships with internal and external customers. You will have excellent attention to detail and a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving. You will be proficient in IT technology, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload. You will display responsible and ethical behaviour towards customers, suppliers and others in the organisation.
