Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Networks Project Supervisor to join our client, a leading semi state company based in Cork.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities will cover the items below:

• Facilitating the delivery of several projects, including planning, organizing, directing and controlling the projects
• Interfacing with local network controllers, delivery teams, materials/stores, and other suppliers/stakeholders
• Managing landowners and other local stakeholders to ensure delivery of Projects
• Scheduling project work and tracking and reporting on progress and performance
• Managing productivity and performance of resources tasked with delivery of the projects
• Assisting with and reporting on project costs
• Ensuring a safe working environment for staff, contractors and the public
• Assessing and reporting on quality of tasks and work during construction
• Managing contractors (subcontractors including interfaces with internal teams)
• Working as part of a team to collectively deliver Networks Projects in the most efficient manner

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential

• At least 5 years relevant experience
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of network assets and standards
• Working knowledge of HV cable, overhead line and/or HV Substation construction
• Project Management Experience
• Knowledge of ESB Networks’ Safety Rules and other associated safety requirements
• Experience of Quality Management
• Experience in Project Delivery
• Knowledge of ESB Networks structure and operation Experience in working and delivering on the transmission and distribution networks

Qualifications Essential

• Qualified Electrician or relevant work experience
