Medical Engineer (Field Based), Dublin

Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates to join a progressive environment and full training will be provided from management within the Medical Engineering team. As medical engineer, you will be carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance for customers across Dublin and Leinster. Your main responsibilities will include the support, repair, installation, and commissioning of medical equipment within a hospital environment and perform routine maintenance as per manufacturers guidelines. You will also manage the scheduling of this maintenance and the preparation and issuing of documents and certifications. You will also work as part of the service team and managers to provide daily progress updates and have full awareness of the ISO standards whilst working in a safe manner with consideration for the clients and minimising disruption. Developing and maintaining a good relationship with your customers will be a key part of this role.

What you'll need to succeed
A qualification in electronic or bio engineering would be preferable as well as experience in a similar role and environment. Strong problem solving and judgement skills are key to this role as well as excellent communication skills and proven interpersonal skills working both as part of a team and off your own initiative. The right candidate will need to be customer focused, with the ability to prioritise work load and working to deadlines. A driving licence is needed for this role.
