Your new Company is a leading Medium sized Mechanical Contractor based in Dublin, specialising in the design, supply, and installation of mechanical solutions to all sectors, nationwide from concept to completion. This client works on a vast array of Projects from commercial, hospitality, healthcare, retail, public and education sectors. Due to there continued growth and progression they are now looking for a Mechanical Site Manager to join the Company. This would be a great role for someone who is looking to progress their career and work on a vast array of large Projects.
Your new role
This is a full time, permanent role with an attractive salary package and a company pension scheme. You will be responsible for leading on site mechanical teams to meet with all project requirements and deadlines, project scheduling and planning. Liaise with the project manager and will hold client/subcontractor meetings. Responsible for managing all resources, crews of direct labour and subcontractors, ordering materials, managing the progress and quality of the contract and ensuring the EHS plan is strictly adhered to. The job is full time, permanent, Dublin based, with a competitive salary including a company pension scheme, mobile and laptop.
What you'll need to succeed
- Building Services Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Degree, Senior Trades qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to manage contracts in the region 200k - 3M.
- Ensure safe workplace, safe systems of work, competent personnel, safe working practices and culture.
- Supervise activity/work package delivery.
- Record daily activity logs for all site activity.
- Liaise with the various trade professionals to organise new work areas and ensure smooth coordination.
- Significant project engineering experience of 3-5 years+ with a mechanical contractor.
- Previous record of delivering mechanical projects (Commercial, Industrial, Pharma, Hospitality projects)
- Capability of walking down mechanical systems to ensure compliance with specification.
- Experience developing technical submittals, completing technical reviews and assessments.
- Quality of workmanship is hugely important.
- Must be performance driven and solution focused
- Fluent English written and spoken.
- Able to communicate politely and professionally at all levels, internally and with customers
