Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, Ringaskiddy

They are now looking for maintenance fitters to join their company on an ongoing temporary basis.
Your new role
As the new maintenance fitter, you will work as part of the mechanical team to carry out all maintenance, installations, and repairs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures and ensure that they are recorded also. You will support the engineering and production teams on continuous improvement and monitor equipment to minimise downtime and be able to recommend continuous improvement actions. You will also carry out the effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems and help to maintain the engineering area in terms of good house keeping and health and safety.
What you'll need to succeed
Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent is essential and previous experience in medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team and off their own initiative, have good communications skills and an eye for detail with strong technical capability.
