Marketing Assistant (Maternity Cover 6 months) - Consumer & Digital Marketing - Temporary Assignment - Dublin

Your new company
As Marketing Assistant, you will join a professional team in one of Ireland’s most reputable transport semi-state organisations. Your new office is in Dublin North and is accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team on a temporary 6-month assignment.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the processing of quotations and invoices for all Consumer & Digital marketing expenditure which will include raising purchase order requisitions, processing of these requisitions for approval, goods receipting to confirm goods & services have been received and working alongside the accounts payable team to process all approved invoices. You will be responsible for regular reporting of Consumer and Digital Marketing expenditure as well as assisting in developing and executing the consumer and digital marketing plans for the commercial portfolio. Support in the management and updating of the clients’ commercial assets – brochures, stationery, sales presenters will be a part of this role as well as marketing assistance on projects across the client’s campus – such as signage and ensuring the consistent application of the brands portfolio. Building excellent relationships and ways of working will be an important part of this role as you will be working within a large cross functional team.

What you'll need to succeed
To become a marketing assistant, you will have proven experience in an office administration role, with a track record of providing office support to colleagues to ensure everyday requests are handled seamlessly. Proven experience of using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required and experience of invoice payment systems (Oracle) is desirable. Excellent communications– both written and design for an external audience, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy, and to an internal audience to align on objectives, messaging, and content is preferred.
