6-month contract for a Qualified Accountant to start immediately

Leading Irish charity with a national remit require a Qualified Accountant to join their finance team to assist them through a busy period

Initially, a 6 month fixed term contract offering an immediate start. There is a chance the contract could be extended and open the door to other opportunities within the finance team/organisation

Reporting to the Financial Controller, working as part of a small team, you will support the Financial Controller with the management of the day to day finances

Key tasks will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations,
Preparation of cashflow forecasts
Maintenance and review of internal controls
Preparation of various management /financial reports
Assisting with projects such as process improvement exercises

Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with strong hands-on accounting experience, good double entry skills and strong IT skills
You will also need to have good interpersonal skills, as you will liaise closely with non-finance staff too
A charity/not for profit background would be an advantage, SME sector experience would be sufficient

Salary €60K-€65K pro rata (depending on experience)
