Our client, a mid-sized medical device manufacturer based in Limerick, is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their growing Maintenance & Facilities team. They are a global provider of speciality products in the area of critical care and produce surgical equipment. This would be a chance to work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan and complete preventative maintenance tasks.

Your new role

• Ensure Quality and EHS policies and procedures are adhered to always
• Ensure, where applicable, that downtime and process issues are dealt with effectively.
• Demonstrate an attitude of knowledge sharing within the group with respect to equipment and processes
• Work with the wider group in identifying opportunities for yield and cost-saving improvements
• Support CIP project activities
• Updating procedures / docs in line with DCR changes etc
• Maintaining a clean and efficient work area (6S)
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• A high degree of computer literacy
• Engineering or relevant manufacturing qualification to Diploma level
• Ability to work in a fluid, demanding environment
• Knowledge and experience of working in the medical devices industry
• Experience interpreting drawings – CAD, Electrical, Mechanical
• Experience working with internal and external customers – value streams, engineers, outside contractors OEM, organising contractors to carry out planned and unplanned maintenance.
• The ability to work on multiple projects between different departments.
• Experience of industrial, mechanical, and electrical safety standards.
• Experience of BMS systems
• Experience of CMMS systems
