A Junior/Graduate Site Civil Engineer is required for an immediate permanent role in Galway.

Your new company

Our client is a civil engineering contractor in the West of Ireland. They are involved in various ground-works / utility contracts throughout the west. They are now seeking to recruit a junior or graduate level Civil Engineer. Ideally, you will have some experience on site and in setting out, but training will also be given. The position is based in Galway.

The Role:
  • Working on various civils works construction projects around Galway.
  • You will be involved in kerbing, drainage, water mains, ducting, cabling, ground-works etc
  • You will be responsible for some setting out and managing the workforce on site.
  • Hold a degree / diploma in civil engineering.
  • Experience of setting out and AutoCAD
  • Excellent attention to detail regarding required construction documentation, procedures and adherence to current building and civils regulations.
  • Keeping safety files and recording information
