Service/Technical support engineer with a mechanical background is required in Co Limerick.

Your new company

Service/Technical Support Engineer with a refrigeration HVAC and/or good mechanical engineering background would be beneficial. Based in Co Limerick.

Responsibilities:.
Co-ordinate service checks as part of preventative maintenance contracts in place with clients.
Compile quotations for maintenance jobs, liaising with service engineers and clients.
Maintain a filing system for service checks, reports and purchases made as part of service contracts.
Monitoring of application of regulations to service works instructed. Eg EN378/PED regulations
Preparation of reports, manuals and technical information associated with service and maintenance contracts
Receipt and interpretation of enquiries
Liaison with clients and their agents
Sales leads from service checks & recommendations, submitted to our clients for review.
Load calculations, piping and equipment sizings etc.
Make reasonable efforts to increase effectiveness in carrying out tasks.
Focus on managing service contracts, e.g. ensuring all checks were completed and paperwork submitted, and all contract extras were carried out (gas detection calibration & electrical checks for example).
Familiarity with operating service management packages/CRM etc.
Review check sheets each week to keep on top of comments from our engineers. Take ownership of this to quotation stage.
Verbal communication with our contractors, service engineers and clients is a key part of the role.
Good communication skills. Deal with queries on a prompt basis.
Interpret any lessons learnt. The role requires someone with initiative and self-motivation.

Educational Requirements:
Possess good mechanical / engineering / HVAC background knowledge. 3D/BIM capabilities are also beneficial
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project, technical documentation experience
Organisation, good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Fluency in English essential
