As Clerical Officer you will join the National Museum of Ireland who are known as Ireland's leading museum institution, with a strong emphasis on national and some international archaeology, Irish history, Irish art, culture, and natural history. Your new position is administrative support to the HR team. Your new office is located in Dublin City and is accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team on a 12-month assignment.
Your new role
As Clerical Officer you will provide administrative support within the HR team on a daily basis. Your duties will include managing queries from NMI employees and external stakeholders, maintaining files and updating records, providing recruitment, and training administrative support, timesheet support and all general administrative and ad-hoc duties that fall into your new role.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have relevant experience in a similar administrative support role, knowledge of HR information/management systems is desirable but not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required as you will be communicating with a diverse range of individuals and stakeholders. Excellent IT skills including MS Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word) are necessary along with the ability to learn company-specific software as required. A keen eye for detail as well as strong organisational skills and commitment to high standards of public service is essential.
With clear and relevant examples of your career achievements within a similar environment with proficient administrative and organisations skills you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
