Health & Safety Officer required for a tier 1 building contractor in Meath. Competitive package.

As a result of continued expansion or to help with their growth projection for the coming years they are looking for a Health and Safety officer.
Your new role
You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring of the Company’s EHS Management System on the project. You will be reporting on compliance and escalating noncompliance as you see fit. You will promote excellent health and safety culture on-site with Site Management, Contractors, and workers. You will keep track of EHS compliance on-site and conduct weekly inspections & reports. You will grow, upkeep and foster good relationships with the wider project team. Effect and coach the team in the best practice EHS standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Recognised EHS Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred). Past Construction experience is an advantage. You need to be proficient in prioritising work requirements and handling a multitude of tasks. You will need proficient computer skills. MS Office packages and database experience. You will need to be a team player and collaborate effectively with others.
