Health & Safety Manger Job - Construction Contractor - Greater Dublin Area

Founded in 1978, in their 40+ years they have established their position as a leading Main Contractor. They have grown by building trust and certainty for clients. Extensive knowledge, skills and experience provide the management tools required to build some of the most challenging projects across the country, including Refurbishment, Fit-Out and Design and Build. They are now seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their team and oversee a number of projects across Dublin.
Your new role
In your new role you will oversee all of the companies construction sites across the greater Dublin area. You will deliver site inductions and toolbox talks, manage site H&S documentation, including site training records, machinery certification, and other statutory H&S records. Carry out risk assessments and complete method statements. Liaise with Site Managers to ensure compliance with current H&S statutory requirements and company’s procedures. Carry out site safety audits across the company and actively promote H&S culture on the company’s sites.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new role you will have Irish experience with extensive knowledge of the Irish law and legislation. At least 3 years’ experience in either a Senior EHS adviser role or 1 years’ experience in a EHS Manager role. A third level qualification in Health and Safety Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Excellent computer skills. Full driving licence.
