What you'll be working on
In your new role as Head of Information Technology, you will spearhead the IT department and implement the Systems and IT strategy to expand the company. They will be tasked with formulating the organization’s strategy and ensuring the availability of all necessary infrastructure and systems for its operations.
They will also oversee the IT teams. The ideal candidate should have a proven history of leading IT teams and delivering top-tier IS/IT services. This position is based on-site, and the candidate can choose to work from our locations understanding that regular travel to our other sites in Ireland and the UK will be necessary.

To be successful in this role you need:
- Establish IT and IS department goals and strategies.
- Implement suitable technologies and ensure information security.
- Manage IT suppliers and oversee backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain optimal IT infrastructure performance and guide the implementation of new solutions.
- Prepare the IT department’s annual budget and stay updated with technological advancements.
- Analyse costs, value, and risks to advise the board.
- Experience as a Head of IS or in a similar managerial role with strategic planning skills in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Profound knowledge of IS and IT systems, infrastructure, contracting, negotiating, and change management.
