Diverse role for an experienced Financial Controller with strong staff management and inter-personal skills

Leading Dublin based service provider with a national remit require an experienced Qualified Accountant to join their Senior Management team. As a senior finance professional you will have overall responsibility for the management of the finance and procurement functions, whilst managing a team of 10+ staff.
Key tasks will include:
- Management of various finance functions: AP, AR, Payroll, Costing
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis reports
- Preparation of annual financial accounts and liaison with auditors
- Activity based costing
- Cashflow forecasting
- Management of the annual budget process
- Management of the organisation's procurement function
- Preparation of capital grant claims
- Development of the internal audit function
- Process improvement and review of internal controls
- Preparation of reports for internal & external stakeholders
- Close liaison with funding bodies
- Attendance at finance committee and monthly board meetings
Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with 10 years pqe, have strong financial management experience working as part of the senior management team and possess proven staff supervisory skills. You will need to have excellent inter-personal & communication skills too. Public sector experience would be an asset but is not essential, happy to consider candidates from an SME background too
Salary €80K-€90K (depending on experience)
